What if……..

How often have you had a terrible class, your mind is unfocused and cluttered, and everything you seem to try fails.

So often it is the thoughts we have before even stepping foot on our mat that have the greatest impact on how our class will play out.

Those thoughts of what if I am not good enough, fit enough, flexible enough.

What if everyone in the room is better than me….

Those negatives ‘what if’s’ will break you.

What if:

As you picked up your yoga mat you thought whatever happens in this next hour is ok;

What if :

As you rolled out your mat you thought, I am here, I am trying, I am exactly where I am meant to be in my practice and my life and I am perfectly happy with that;

What if:

At the end of the class whatever the outcome you felt proud of everything you just achieved, rather than berating yourself for the things you didn’t!

Love your self from the inside out.
Walk tall with self-confidence.
Think lovely thoughts.
Smile from your heart and with your eyes.
Stop comparing yourself to others love the skin you’re in.
Dress in clothes that make you happy not just in clothes you feel you should wear.
Feel happy, wonderful, positive for all the great things you have – then watch the glow that comes into your soul and shines out of your body.
Be kind to yourself and others.
Be unique, be you, beYOUtiful!

The key to success starts with what is happening in your head

It doesn’t matter what your diet plan is, which fitness or life goal you have set, if you are not in the right head space mentally your chances of success are low.

If you are not 100% committed to achieve, or are already telling yourself you are going to fail then perhaps you are not ready to start.

While this all may sound very negative, it doesn’t need to.

The key to all of this is YOU and what is currently happening in your head.

It isn’t easy to change patterns of thought and behaviors that you may have held on to for years.

It isn’t easy but it is possible and achievable.

If someone tells me I am going to fail, I have two choices; I believe them and fail or I prove them wrong and succeed.

I know which person I would rather be.

Which person do you want to be?

The key to your success starts with what is happening inside your head.

Imagine if ….

Imagine if you could re live every ordinary day as though it were extraordinary?

Imagine if you loved every part of your body and didn’t want to change a thing?

Imagine if you were the smartest, richest, funniest, most talented person in the world?

Imagine if each time you posted on Facebook you instantly got a million likes?

Imagine if you never had to work at anything and you were automatically thin, successful, fit?

Imagine if:

You actually lived out every ordinary day having extraordinary thoughts, seeing the world through extraordinary eyes, imagine how amazing and fulfilling each day could be….

You loved your body flaws and all, you realized that everyone has their own in securities and while each body is different none are perfect.

Imagine how happy you could be if you were comfortable in your own skin and you focused on all the things you love, rather than the things you hate…..

You didn’t strive to be richer, smarter, more talented but you learnt to appreciate and feel gratitude for all the amazing things you already have in your life…..

You stopped posting on Facebook and instantly checked for likes, you didn’t feel sad when you only got two likes rather than twenty.

You realized that the amount of Facebook likes does not equate to your successful status as a human being…..

You stopped wishing for more, you appreciated working hard to get results, so you could feel a deep sense of achievement and pride……

Imagine if you spent less time thinking, worrying and more time being present in the moment, more time feeling genuine gratitude and happiness.

Imagine if you spent less time worrying about people’s opinion of you and more time focussing on how YOU feel about you.

Everything is energy

As I sit and watch a rather large storm brewing outside my house, I start to think about energy.

I love the crazy energy that a building storm brings.

My hair will sense a storm several hours before it even hits.

Everything is energy, and just as my hair will pick up the storms energy and pre-warn me with massive curls and frizz, so to can the energy you put out affect those around you.

So I ask you this, do you think it’s possible that if you consciously decide to emit positive energy, that more often than not, you will attract positive energy in return?

This positive energy will present itself through the people you meet or the situations you encounter.

Likewise if we keep holding on to negative thoughts and feelings those feelings will keep growing stronger and bringing more negative energy, thoughts, feelings and situations our way.

Where your focus goes the energy flows.

Next time you are lying down, try this; lie on your back with your palms facing up to the ceiling.
Focus on your palms and as you do, notice a slight tingling feeling in your hands, then notice that feeling intensifying, as you hold your focus there…..

Crazy huh!

Everything is energy, it’s up to you how you want to use it.
